The Edge Software - THE FUTURE

 

There are a lot of possible software upgrades that I have in mind for this Texas HoldEm program.  I am always coming up with ways to record new HoldEm statistics and useful poker opponent information. Depending on the success of this poker statistic gathering program made specifically for Hold’Em and Omaha, I may create a version for tracking poker stats in Stud poker.

I would like to come up with a way to track player raises, poker betting strategies, and more HoldEm stat information. I have lots of ideas and I am always upgrading my own poker program. I would like to make the HoldEm program easier to use and to integrate the two windows somehow. One of the next projects on my software upgrade list, though it may take a while for me to do, is to give an idea of the worst HoldEm hands your poker opponents will play based on their preflop tendencies.   Also, having the Poker Player Notes in a more accessible location in the HoldEm software window will make it a more useful feature.

The upgrade I am currently working on is to evolve the HoldEm stat tracking program from VB6 to .NET - I am doing this to try to eliminate some of the technical issues involved with the VB6 software and the file which saves your opponent's poker statistics.
